The University welcomes UP Cebu Visiting Professor Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya. He will report for duty on Monday, 01 February 2016. He will be teaching PS162 (Political Parties and Interest Groups) and PS187 (Contemporary Global Trends and Issues). He will also be conducting a research entitled “Geopolitics and Regionalization in the Asia-Pacific” and be giving public lectures that will be organized by the Social Sciences Cluster.
An award-winning author, sociologist and geopolitical analyst, Mahdi Darius Nazemroaza is the author of The Globalization of NATO (Clarity Press) and a forthcoming book The War on Libya and the Re-Colonization of Africa. He is Research Associate at the Centre for Research on Globalization (CRG), a contributor at the Strategic Cultural Foundation (SCF), Moscow, and a member of the Scientific Committee of Geopolitica, Italy.
